What is Agile?

Agile is another methodology for project development.
It is generally used in IT industry. The principles are adopted from other industries such as Manufacturing.
Unlike the other methodologies, the focus of Agile is on developing small increments of product instead of developing the entire product at a time. For example. If you are building a website then the focus of Waterfall methodology would be to develop the entire website at a time and demonstrate the website to customer, whereas, in Agile you would develop 1 page at a time and keep demonstrating and delivering 1 page at a time to customer.

What is Difference between SCRUM and AGILE?

Agile is a time boxed, iterative approach to software delivery that builds software incrementally from the start of the project, instead of trying to deliver it all at once near the end. There are various methodologies in Agile such as Scrum, Lean, DSDM, Crystal etc. Each of the methodology is used for solving a specific business issue that a customer faces.
Scrum is the most widely used agile framework for completing complex projects. Scrum originally was formalized for software development projects, but it works well for any complex, innovative scope of work. Various tools and techniques from other methodologies such as Lean work excellently in the Scrum Framework.
