Troubleshooting Guide for e-Learning Course by EPMC

EPMC - e-Learning Course has been designed to work best with latest version of Internet Explorer / Google Chrome / Firefox browsers.
If you are not able to start video, please check the following settings.


Google Chrome


1     Enable Javascript

  • Click the Chrome menu icon Chrome menuon the browser toolbar.
  • Select Settings.
  • On the "Settings" page, click the Show advanced settings... link.
  • In the "Privacy" section, click Content settings...
  • Select Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended) in the "JavaScript" section.
  • Click Done.

2     Clear Browser history

  • Goto Settings
  • Click on ‘Show Advanced Settings’ link at the bottom of Settings window
  • Uncheck the checkbox under System section with text - ‘Use hardware acceleration when available’
  • Click on Clear browsing data button under Privacy section
  • Select ‘the beginning of time’ option from dropdown and select the checkbox options as shown below
  • Click on Clear browsing data button.

Internet Explorer


1     Enable Javascript

  • Click the gear icon/Tools menu to the right of the Internet Explorer address bar.
  • Select Internet Options from the drop-down menu.
  • Next, select the Security tab at the top of the dialog box.
  • Then, select the earth (Internet) icon.
  • Then select the Custom Level button under the Security level for this zone section.
  • Locate the Scripting section within the list.
  • Under Active Scripting, select Enable, then hit OK.
  • Answer yes to the following confirmation box.
  • Hit OK to close the Internet Options window.
  • Finally, refresh your browser.

2     If Download Manager is installed then uninstall it.

  • Click the Windows Start button and choose Control Panel.

  • Click Uninstall a Program from the Programs section of the Control Panel. A list of programs currently installed on your system is displayed.
  • Locate Internet Download Manager in the list of installed applications and right-click it. Select Uninstall. Click Yes in the window that appears requesting confirmation.

Firefox


1     To enable Javascript

  • Open a new Firefox browser window or tab.
  • Copy the following then paste it into the Firefox address bar: about:config
  • Hit the Enter key.
  • On the following page, click the button: "I'll be careful, I promise!"
  • Find the javascript.enabled row under the Preference Name heading.
  • Double-click anywhere within the javascript.enabled row to toggle the value from "False" to "True".
  • Finally, refresh your browser.
